Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am concerned about the unusual noises my stomach makes. Anytime I eat or drink anything even if it is small, my stomach keeps making loud gurgling and rumbling sounds. I only drink water or fruit smoothies and avoid drinking soda, dairy, or any juice. I eat a very healthy diet and stay away from processed foods. I incorporate chia seeds, flax seeds, and oats in my diet for better digestion. I eat small meals and my stomach still does not settle. I try to exercise and do not see any changes. I wake up bloated and it remains the same throughout the day. I am not constipated or experiencing any symptoms like nausea, diarrhea, or pain in my stomach. I consulted a doctor two months back, he told me I had indigestion and prescribed medicines but that did not work. I am worried if this could be something else as I have been having this issue for four months already. Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
Our intestine is constantly moving the food we consume from the esophagus down to the anal opening slowly, similar to the continuous beating of the heart. This intestinal motility helps in absorbing the foods and promotes digestion.
You perceive these as abnormal sounds that will sound more in thinner individuals.
Take care and update me on the progress of your symptoms.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
