Gelusil Syrup

Gelusil syrup is an antacid containing a mixture of Aluminum hydroxide with Dimethicone and Magnesium hydroxide. It is used to provide quick relief from acidity, heartburn, and gas. Aluminum hydroxide acts as an antacid for neutralizing the increase in stomach acid. Dimethicone is used as an antiflatulent for releasing gas. Magnesium hydroxide serves as a laxative by increasing the water in the intestine.
