Hi,
Welcome to Icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Yes, at places it looks like a scar, but morphologically, it is active, meaning there is a recurrence. The images are a bit unclear. Can you please resend them so I can evaluate the condition in a better way?
Please revert in case of further queries.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
What can be done to stop it and avoid recurrence? I have attached a few more pictures.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome back to Icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
You can do a superficial (shave or punch) biopsy and serology for HPV (Human papillomavirus) to confirm. You can go for electrocautery (surgery to remove unwanted tissue) or Podowart (Podophyllum resin 20% w/v, Benzoin 10% w/v, and Aloe vera 2 % w/v) solution application (I suggest this be applied by a dermatologist in the clinic; not for self-application).
I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of further queries.
Thank you.
