Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a problem of acidity and anxiety as well. My heart rate becomes high when I have acidity and I also experience chest pain. My mother also has a complaint of acidity. Previously, I used the tablet Pantop D for acidity. I am attaching my ECG reports that show poor R-wave progression V3. Could you please let me know what it means? Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern and would be happy to help. I have reviewed the ECG (Electrocardiogram) report you shared (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). The report is within the normal range. V3 is a transition zone of the QRS complex that represents ventricular depolarization, and it depends on the cardiac axis, that is, orientation within the chest. Also, there are no signs of cardiac ischemia. Regarding acidity, I would suggest you undergo fibrogastroscopy, as acid reflux can also be the reason for chest pain. I hope this helps. Kindly revert in case of further questions. Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your answer. So, is there no heart-related issue? Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Based on your symptoms, it appears like gastroesophageal reflux. I hope this helps. Do revert in case of further questions.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
