Hello doctor,

I have undergone a lot of orthodontic procedures in my lifetime to fix my underbite and crossbite. Later, I had a canine removed that was fused to the bone of my upper jaw. I also had a bone graft and crown done in that area. That particular area is a bit swollen and puffy. Why so?

Please help.

However, I would like you to describe your condition in detail. Can you please tell me if you have a puffy lip area or a puffy grafted area?

If you feel the grafted area is puffy then please upload some pictures of the face as well as the gum region of the oral cavity. I suggest you take an IOPAR (intraoral periapical radiograph) of the affected region and consult a dentist.
