Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

How are you? Hope your physical condition is good. I have read your problem carefully. Your history is incomplete, and so I have a few queries.

What is the pattern of hair loss (a picture will help)? Do you have a dandruff problem? Is there any family history of early hair loss? Do you have any other symptom such as weight gain, skin rash, body itching, etc?

There are many causes of hair loss in early age. The most common reasons are,

1. Familial.

2. Male pattern hair loss (hormonal, androgenic).

3. Dandruff.

Other causes are mainly due to different systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypothyroidism, connective tissue disease, etc. With your history, I do not think you have systemic diseases. Please get the following investigations to rule out systemic disease. OGTT (oral glucose tolerance test), TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone test) and serum creatinine. The treatment mainly depends on the underlying cause. Now, I recommend Minoxidil spray 5 % two times daily in the interim period. Please revert with further details.
