Minoxidil

Minoxidil is a vasodilator, which is used to treat male pattern baldness. It is used for androgenic alopecia and hereditary hair loss but is not helpful in sudden or patchy hair loss or hair loss after pregnancy. The side effects include burning, stinging, and redness on the site of application.
