Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am 29 years old. I have lost a lot of weight, and I think that is why my hair is falling out. It falls out easily, and I have thinning hair in the front. I want a good hair care routine so that I can follow it to make sure my hair is getting the best care. What ingredients do I need to avoid?
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
1. I have seen your query and concern with your descriptions. It seems you have generalized hair fall. It could be due to a deficiency of nutrients.
2. Generalized hair falls in female is mostly due to stress, poor sleep, poor nutrition, and excessive blood loss due to menstruation.
3. Stress alopecia is also common in which females keep their hair very tight in a certain manner, which creates tension in the root and cause hair fall.
4. Straightening and other procedures also cause weakness of the root. Other conditions like fever, typhoid, malaria, and thyroid can also cause hair fall, but these are less common.
5. Regarding treatment, have a good sleep. Eat proper food with green vegetables and fruits. Take multivitamins like Follihair (Biotin, Iron, L- Cysteine) or Xtraglo (Biotin, Copper, Iron, Selenium, Zinc, L-Cysteine, L-Lysine, Methionine) for at least three months.
6. Check your blood hemoglobin. If it is less, then you should start an iron and folic acid supplement. Also, check thyroid and diabetes to rule out other causes.
7. You can use Folliserum daily morning by local application and 2% Minoxidil (1 ml) by a local application at night. Also, take tablet Xtraglo (Biotin, Copper, Iron, Selenium, Zinc, L-Cysteine, L-Lysine, Methionine) once daily for three months.
