Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 23 year old female. I have been suffering from severe hair loss for the past two months.

  1. Could you provide an overview of the common causes of hair loss?
  2. I am interested in understanding temporary and more chronic reasons for hair thinning and loss.
  3. Can medical conditions such as thyroid disorders or autoimmune diseases lead to hair loss?
  4. How can I determine if an underlying health issue is causing my hair loss?
  5. How do stress and lifestyle factors like sleep, exercise, and overall well-being play a role in hair loss?
  6. Can managing stress and adopting healthier habits help prevent hair loss?
  7. What are the available treatments for hair loss?

Thank you.
