Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 40-year-old female. I had a severe hit on my head last week, and I am feeling the pain often in my head region. I am feeling nauseous and feel like vomiting when I eat something. I also feel some pulsations in my head. My doubt is, will this hit cause clotting of blood in the brain, and can this turn into a tumor? Should I seek medical attention, or can I wait and see for a week? I used to hit my head right in my childhood when I got angry. But nowadays, accidentally, often I am getting hit on my head.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read your query. I can understand your concern.

Thanks for reaching out to iCliniq. I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry. I am here to take care of you. May I ask, did you have a head-on-side collision with a vehicle or any fatal death during the hit? I am asking to know the degree of the hit. Because I suspect you have developed a skull hematoma, blood occupying a part of the skull, leading to the neurological symptoms you are feeling. Of course, it can be a clot formation and may also lead to cancer, but if it affects the brain cells. Yes, please do a brain Computed Tomography scan to rule out any brain medical conditions, and schedule another appointment for follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation.

I hope that you got your answer.

Please, let me know if you want some help.

Take care.

Thank you.

Regards.
