Hello doctor,

I fell and on the recommendation of my general practitioner, I had a scan. I now need an opinion of a neurology expert on this matter.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I would appreciate some more information regarding your symptoms. When did you fall? How long ago was it? Please describe the incident, including how you fell and which part of your head was injured by what sort of item. Did you go unconscious as a result of the fall? Have you ever vomited or had a headache after a fall? Have you experienced limb weakness as a result of your fall? Have you had any fits since the fall (if you cannot recall, please ask an eyewitness or your companion at the time)? Are you taking any medications as a result of your fall and CT (computerized tomography) head? If so, please provide the names of the medications. Did you sustain injuries to other regions of your body in addition to your head? If so, please explain. What are the specific problems that you wish to address here?

Thank you

Treatment plan

The attached CT Head report mentioning some soft tissue swelling over right side of head / face & lips Along with mentioned is suspicious hyperdensity along falx -for that reporting radiologist is not sure if that's hemorrhage or not.

Regarding follow up

Please revert with above mentioned information and your exact concerns which you want discuss.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

There was a fight in my family and as I was about to stop, one person pushed me a little bit and I just got hit by the wall and I was not unconscious and everything was normal only then I noticed there is a bit of bulge and kept Ice bag for the next two days as the doctor advised and everything is normal, this is what happened and I have none of the other symptoms you mentioned above. I took this scan as a precaution.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You described the incident and your health, but you did not specify what issues you want to discuss. This CT scan was taken around two weeks ago. Soft tissue edema was recorded throughout the right side of the head, face, and lips in this scan. In addition, there is a bothersome hyper density along the falx - the reporting radiologist is unclear if this is bleeding or not. Please provide the specifics of your query as well.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.
