Hello doctor,

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

As per your history, unilateral headache, throbbing nature, associated with nausea, lasting for few hours, occurring daily, not associated with any ocular feature. The possibility can be chronic migraine with daily headaches. As you are generally anxious, it may be associated with some component of tension-type headache. So I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. Kindly consult your physician and discuss starting with tablet Amitriptyline (antidepressant) 10 mg once daily at night and tablet Propranolol (beta blocker) 20 mg once daily in the morning.
  2. Practice jogging for 20 to 30 minutes in the morning.
  3. Maintain a proper sleep cycle and wake up on time.
  4. Avoid factors that trigger headaches.
  5. Maintain headache diary.
  6. Get checked for MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (thyroxine), TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone), ECG (echocardiogram), vitamin B12, ANA- IFA (antinuclear antibody) method, and consult an ophthalmologist for refraction, IOP (intraocular pressure), and fundus.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
