Can depot injection cause bleeding during sex?

This problem may be due to hormonal imbalance, anemia, thyroid problems, or infection of either the urinary tract or pelvic floor response. Kindly do the following tests.

1. PT (prothrombin time) and coagulation profile.
2. Thyroid profile.
3. Hemoglobin level and peripheral smear study.
4. Pap smear of vaginal discharge for microbiology and others like cervicitis.
5. Speculum examination by gynecologist for abrasion.
6. Ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis.
7. You may need antibiotics, analgesics, and antihistamines along with douching of the vagina with an antiseptic solution and vaginal pessary or ointment for 5 days.
