Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I recently had vaginal intercourse. After a minute, I noticed she was having periods, so I left her and cleaned up. Despite wearing a condom, I found some blood on my shaft when I was cleaning up. She gave me only oral sex after I showered and got dressed. I did not give it any thought, and three days later I felt sick. I ignored it as a simple cold, but it lasted a bit longer than normal for me, which made me panic. It is anxiety, but since this has all been happening this month, I started to notice every itch or pain, headache, and diarrhea, which surprised me. How worried should I be about HIV or another STD? I know stress can do so much to your body and the mind is pretty powerful so that is very much a possibility. The more anxious I got, the more heightened my thoughts or symptoms became. Also, I would like to have some additional information. I am a straight male, never engaged in gay sex, never engaged in anal sex, not an IV drug user, and always used protection for vaginal insertion.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I just read your query. I can understand your concern.

You are in contact with menstruation blood because you had unprotected sexual contact with a woman who is menstruating, and you were talking about this. You might have caught an infection resulting in a common cold because your roommates are sick. However, you have a history of sexual activity through the mouth and complaints of diarrhea and headaches during the common cold. Now, menstrual blood comes in contact with you, so you are at risk of sexually transmitted disease or HIV. Symptoms may also appear and may be nothing to worry about, but unprotected sex with a lady who is in menstruation is not ignored. You can consult skin and general disease specialists for sexually transmitted diseases, and a doctor may advise you on urine tests for STDs. Regarding HIV, I recommend the One Card Elisa Kit test, which is used as a screening test and provides a quick result indicating whether or not you have the virus. If one side of the HIV infection test is negative, you should experience a 95 percent reduction in anxiety. Both for the STD and the urine test for chlamydia, the results could be positive or negative. If the test is negative, it means another ten percent of total anxiety has gone. You must be taken treatment for diarrhea, headache, and anxiety, till the date you are relieved. If not relieved, I will suggest a proper treatment:

Maintain proper hygiene of the oral cavity and genital organ with, betadine solution and lukewarm water at least two or three times a day. For the oral cavity take betadine mouthwash for proper rinse and gargle of your oral cavity after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

For treatment, I suggest the following:

For diarrhea, use a probiotic supplement with water two times a day for three to five days or as you may require. For headaches, are you hypertensive if not then tablet Tylenol one tablet after breakfast may be sufficient for you to take it two times a day. For anxiety, you can take the tablet Dexlansoprazole 30 mg once at night with water after dinner.

An antioxidant for generalized body capsule Electrolyte oral solution, Freezer pops, and jell cups at night. It may continue for two or three months or more. Seven Seas Cod liver oil or Lovaza, Vascazen, Omtryg, and Omega-3-acid ethyl esters. One at night with milk has very good results in general. Add citrus fruit like lemon, orange, kiwi, gooseberry, blueberry, etc, which boosts your immune system.

I hope I have answered your questions.

Thank you.

Regards.
