Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

The inner part of my thigh appears black, and I have an itching and burning sensation in that area. I have attached a picture. Now the same is happening in my underarms. I took medicine, but the condition remained the same. I have taken the tablet Atrax 20 mg, Avil 25mg, and Wysolone 20 mg for 15 days. I applied the Calasoft lotion for relief, but it started itching again. I am having a hair fall problem. When I pull my hair, it falls out easily. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have fungal infection from the attached images (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). Do you have any other health issues? For example, are you pregnant or breastfeeding? I suggest you take the tablet Itraconazole 100 mg twice daily for three weeks, and the tablet Bilashine (Bilastine) 20 mg for itching, and apply the Ketostar (Ketoconazole) cream twice daily (consult a specialist doctor, talk with him or her, and take medications with their consent). Keep the area clean and dry. Dry the body properly after bathing. Change your clothes daily. After bathing, dry the body properly and apply the cream or powder. Do not touch the area as it might spread by your hand.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor for the reply,

Should I take both tablets twice daily? Please suggest something about the hair fall.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I suggest you take the tablet Bilashine (Bilastine) if you feel itchy. Please answer these questions related to hair fall. What is your age? For how long have you had hair fall? Did you have any major illness or surgery in the last six months? Do you have a thyroid issue or any chronic health problem? Did you move to a new location recently? Are you taking any medications? Do you smoke? Are you married? If yes, do you have any children? Are your periods regular? Do you have any complaints of vague joint pain, excess redness of the face to sun exposure, and joint pain? Are you losing hairs from a specific area? Are you vegetarian? Are you on any supplements, especially gyming supplements or whey proteins? Are you already on or have taken any treatment for hair fall?

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
