Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have light pink and brown bleeding and it is not as heavy as my periods. I am having little period cramps, headaches, and tiredness which I usually donot get during my period. I was wondering if this could be implantation bleeding because it is around the time I would get my periods but my periods have never been like this. I want to know when I should take a pregnancy test.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You can check for a urine pregnancy test if you have crossed your due date of periods or wait till the due date. If it is not close to the periods' date, it may be due to a urinary tract infection or pelvic floor response.

I advise you to do the following tests:

  1. Urine routine and culture test.
  2. Pap smear of vaginal discharge for microbiology and cervicitis.
  3. Thyroid profile.

Thank you.
