Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 21-year-old female who has diabetes and a high BMI. I have been trying to conceive for the last eight months, but nothing has happened. I have been taking ConceiveEasy for the last four months, even though it has done nothing and disturbed my periods. I do have one child already and turned infertile after having him. Please tell me about the treatment.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

You are young and very likely to have a good number of eggs which is one of the essential prerequisites for conception. In addition, as given in the history that you have diabetes, I hope your blood sugar levels are under control as this would help reduce complications in pregnancy. Also, for a high BMI (body mass index), you would work both in terms of diet and exercise to lose about 10 % of your current body weight. This would be helpful for conception as well.

Hope your thyroid and prolactin, and AMH (anti-mullerain hormone) hormones are normal too. After about 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse, it would be essential to check your partner's semen parameters to ensure that all is well there.

Please let me know if you have any further doubts to clarify.

I hope it will help you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
