Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 27-year-old and I have been bleeding for the last two days after sex. It stopped automatically so we again did it and used protection as well but it started to bleed even more than before. We did it after two years and it was not the first time. Why am I bleeding? I also took a contraceptive pill but I am bleeding before that. It is the first time I am facing this problem. Can you please explain to me what is happening and what I do to stop bleeding? One more thing there is no pain in my body just bleeding. Please share with me some solutions and treatments for that.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern. According to your description, there is a possibility of having a vaginal infection, as in such cases of infection vaginal mucosa becomes fragile and may bleed while having intercourse. To stop the bleeding you can take a tablet of Tranexa Mf (Tranexamic acid and Mefenamic acid) twice daily till the bleeding is there. But to cure the infection you should take a proper antibiotic course. Did you have any smelly vaginal discharge? Are there any urinary-related complaints like burning micturition or increased frequency of urination?

Thank you.
