Ecp Tablets

ECP tablets, also known as emergency contraceptive pills. These taken after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure to prevent pregnancy. They contain high doses of hormones, usually progestin or a combination of progestin and estrogen, to disrupt the fertilization process and prevent the implantation of a fertilized egg in the uterus. ECP tablets are most effective when taken as soon as possible after unprotected intercourse but can be taken up to 72-120 hours, depending on the specific medication.
