Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

After using Kojivit I got small pimples, itching, and redness. What should I do?

Answered by Dr. Chaitra. P

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Do not worry. Kojivit cream which you used is known to cause irritation if necessary care is not taken. I shall help you overcome the problem you are having at present. Do the following:

  1. Immediately withhold using Kojivit cream for at least a week.
  2. Avoid going out in the sun with the cream on.
  3. Apply a little bit of Calamine lotion to soothe the irritation.
  4. You can also use ice cubes if there is burning.
  5. Do not scratch.
  6. Once symptoms are gone, you can restart Kojivit slowly.

If you can post a photo of the boil that you have got, I can help you more precisely with treatment.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
