Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I face some itching on my private part, and I went to a gynecologist last month. They prescribed me some medicine, Diane-35. I use that, and after using it, I face less period flow, and then I contact my doctor. She told me to stop taking that medicine, and I stopped it. But this month, I also faced the same problem. How long do these side effects last? What should I do now to get my period regular flow?

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

A shorter period is abnormal and could cause psychological stress for the woman. The shorter period from Diana (Methandienone) is not a common side effect. The estrogen content in Diana (Methandienone) stimulates the growth of the endometrium, and the period should be a bit scantier than usual. The drug also reduces your endogenous secretion of estrogen, and your body needs some time to adjust to normal. However, this effect should clear off within the next three months. So, just be patient. If it has not cleared by then, you will require further investigation.

I hope this information will help you.

Thanks.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for the reply.

Is there any home remedy to boost the hormone level?

Please advice.

Answered by Dr. Obinna Ugwuoke

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

There is the hormonal remedy. However, you must be sure you are not hypertensive, have active DVT ( deep vein thrombosis), or have a pulmonary embolism. You must not also have a history of breast cancer. You would take the Premarin (Sodium estrone sulfate) for 21 days and then stop. Your period will follow about a week later. Premarin is meant to supplement your endogenous (normal body) estrogen, thus stimulating endometrial (inner wall of your uterus) growth.

I hope this information will help you.

Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
