Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have a small hard lump on the top of my left testicle, and I am worried about it.
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com
I read your query and understand your concern.
I have gone through the images that you have attached (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). It might be an epididymal cyst, and they present as a round small hard cyst above the testis. They are mostly asymptomatic and do not require surgical removal. To confirm the diagnosis, you need an ultrasound of the scrotum. Do not worry; you do not need to do anything if it is an epididymal cyst. They remain of the same size, or they might resolve on their own.
If you have any other queries, please let me know.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for your response.
How long does it take to go away?
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
It might take years to subside, and if you are not interested in taking any medication, you can remove it surgically. Consult a specialist doctor as early as possible and do the needful.
Thank you.
