Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had an X-ray last Thursday and I got the result today. It says I have fibrosis in my right upper lobe. I had a history of pulmonary tuberculosis two years back and I took a six months medication and I am done with it. I just want to ask if fibrosis can be cured if I take medication and do exercise daily and eat healthy foods?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Fibrosis is a feature of chronic inflammation and your lung fibrosis is because of that. Tuberculosis is a chronic granulomatous inflammation and can lead to fibrosis. Fibrosis is irreversible condition and cannot be revert back. Thank you and take care. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
