Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

There is a cord-like lump at the base of my penis, which extends three centimeters from the root up to the shaft, and a thinner vessel continues from it. It is not visible, not palpable, with no change in size and shape, no discoloration of the skin, and a little pain with erection. It has been present for the past four weeks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This cord is lymphangiosclerosis. It is a lymphatic channel that gets hard with time, inflamed, painful, and reduces till it disappears. Usually, it takes about a few weeks to few months to resolve completely. It does not require any treatment.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

It is not visible even when it erects. I have been taking Aspirin each morning. It feels a little softer today. Is there any treatment you would recommend?

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It will resolve on its own, and no specific treatment is needed. It needs some time, and all will be well. Also, no treatment is necessary to even fasten the healing process.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
