Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have a scar on my face since my childhood. Due to some infection or may be an insect bite, it grew into a pimple and I scratched it. It left a scar on my face and looks ugly.
Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I have seen your query and concern. Your scar can be corrected with very good cosmetic results by a few options. Subcision followed by scar revision surgery or punch scar lifting surgery need to consult your nearby dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Otherwise, you can try Opexa gel (Dimeticone and Ascorbyl testraisopalmitate gel) or Contractubex gel (Extractum cepae, Heparin, and Allantoin) twice daily with variable results. Clean the affected area with water and dry. Gently apply a thin layer of Opexa Gel or Contractubex gel. Let the gel dry for at least four to five minutes. Use continuously for a minimum duration of eight weeks.
I hope this information will help you.
Thanks.
