Can masturbation cause weakness and penile curvature?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 21 years old. I have been masturbating regularly for the past four years. Earlier, I used to do it up to three times a day and did not feel weak. Nowadays, I do it a maximum of two times a week, but I feel very weak.
Also, I have noticed that my penis is slightly curved to the right side.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com
I have read your query and understand your concern.
At your age, masturbation does not cause physical weakness, loss of strength, or damage to sexual organs, even if done more frequently in the past. The weakness you are experiencing is more likely related to factors such as stress, anxiety, poor sleep, lack of exercise, poor diet, dehydration, or vitamin deficiencies.
When the frequency of masturbation decreases, but anxiety increases, the body may feel more tired due to mental stress rather than any physical cause.
Regarding the curvature of the penis, a mild bend to one side is very common and usually normal. Many men have a natural curvature. It becomes a concern only if the bend is new, worsening, painful, associated with a hard lump, or causes difficulty during intercourse.
Masturbation does not change the direction of the penis or cause permanent curvature.
Focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle with proper sleep, regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and reduced stress. Avoid excessive worry about sexual health, as this can worsen symptoms.
It would help to know if you have any pain, a hard lump, normal morning erections, or if the curve has changed recently. This information can guide further evaluation if needed.
I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.
Thank you.
