When I masturbate, some liquid comes out of my anus. Why?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a male with a weight of 60 kilograms and a height of six feet two inches. When I masturbate, I have a weird liquid coming out of my anus after ejaculation. It is transparent.

There is an absence of pain. It discharges only on masturbation. I do not have any issues with my bowel movements. Is it safe to continue doing masturbation? Do I need to stop? Can I have any other causes?

Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

A liquid that flows out of your anus does not have any relation with your prostate fluid or semen. There is a more unlikely chance to have a painless condition when prostate fluid flows out through the anus. This symptom is never observed in healthy men. While masturbation, your anal muscle reacts unusually producing fluid from the bowel.

It is the most likely cause seen in you. It indicates a sign and you need to consult a proctologist for a physical examination. A proctologist is a specialist of bowel diseases and he can able to rule out the cause in you. Kindly have a physical examination soon by consulting a proctologist and avoid masturbation.

Thank you.
