Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My period extended up to 65 days, and not yet ovulated. Five days before, I visited our hometown doctor, who suggested some ovulation tablets. Today I faced mild stomach pain, so the hometown doctor took the USG abdomen and told us nothing to worry about. Herewith I attached that report for your kind reference. Is it normal?
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Tell me which tablet you have taken for ovulation. Also, I saw your ultrasound (attachments removed for patient identity protection). It suggests ovulation. The pain you are experiencing is because of ovulation. Based on ultrasound reports, no need to worry about the same. It suggests a small fibroid also, but it is a benign lesion, so you do not need to worry about it. Since you have missed periods, get one urine pregnancy test done. In case of more pain, you can take one tablet of Paracetamol. You also have one mild hemorrhagic cyst it might resolve with your next period.
The probable cause is ovulation pain. Investigations to be done is a urine pregnancy test. Differential diagnoses are ovulation, pelvic inflammatory disease, and hemorrhagic cyst rupture. A preventive measure is weight loss.
Treatment plan
Regarding follow-up SOS after one week. Ultrasound after the next period. Follow up if menses still does not come.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for your answer.
We tested five times using a strip. All shows negative. I attached the tablet prescription and USG taken one year before for your reference. At that time, we aborted due to the absence of a fetal pulse. My current report is normal or not?
Is there any problem?
Thank you.
