Patient's Query

Hello,

I am a 31-year-old female with blood spotting within a fortnight after my period. The spotting lasts for one or two days, which is not enough to use napkins but is noticeable when using the toilet. Two to three droplets of blood are evacuated four times daily due to the slight bleeding. A few months prior, this had occurred, lasting four months before ceasing for two months. I again noticed bleeding this time and consulted with a doctor who took an ultrasound stomach, uterus scan, cervical smear pap test, and some vaginal infection tests like pap test three months before. All the test results were normal. I am worried about why the spotting reappeared after completely stopping. Should I contact the doctor again or wait for a few weeks? This time, spotting happened after I took a very long hill trek. I developed severe body aches after that trip. Is this responsible for my spotting? Please help me. Also, I am having severe acne and pimple issues on my face. I do not have pain in my stomach. I was taking medications for tuberculosis before the symptoms developed. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query, and I can understand your concern.

According to your description, there could be a possibility for ovulation spotting inducing these symptoms. There is no need for any further interventions because your USG (ultrasound) scan was normal. The pimples can occur because of hormonal changes. If symptoms continue throughout succeeding cycles, more investigations can be planned.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
