Hi doctor,

I am a 23-year-old male with a weight of 154 lbs and a height of five feet seven inches. I have weird symptoms nowadays. I have occasional headaches for the past two weeks. I also have pain in my left eyes. I usually do dancing and exercise every day. But today, I just went for a jog and after that, I started to have headaches. Before three days, I noticed my stool in green color. I went to the bathroom two to three times a day. I am very concerned. Before having these symptoms, I ate fries, and nuggets cooked with vegetable oil. Now I ate rice with bread. I have trouble while sleeping. I sleep only for three to five hours. Sometimes I sleep for six to seven hours. But I wake up in the middle. I work in a graveyard shift and so I try to sleep in the morning. Currently, I am taking Melatonin 3 mg. My doctor prescribed eye drops for my eye pain. But I did not use them. Please suggest.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have mentioned your routine activities and work hours. It seems that you have migraine headaches. The most common causes are stress and lack of sleep. Both these factors are present in your case. First of all, try to monitor your sleep pattern and any added stress while having these headaches. Have attention while eating foods. There are certain foods that can trigger the onset of headaches. Have a diary and notice the headache once or twice a week.

You can take Paracetamol 650 mg to get relief. If the headache disturbs your daily activities even after taking it, then you need to take some more medications. Try to distress yourself and have good sleep. Please mention the eye drops prescribed for you. Please mention whether you have done an eye check-up recently. Regarding green stool, it does not seem to connect with headaches. You can have diarrhea and it can be of green color. Please mention whether you have cramps or nausea. Green stools can occur due to the food taken in green color or it can be due to infection. Please mention whether you have a history of taking food from outside.
