Green Stools

Green stools usually occur due to the intake of excess green leafy vegetables. Chlorophyll in the plants produces a green color. Green stools can occur in children due to artificial colored frosting at birthday parties. But, if a person has recurring diarrhea and vomiting with green stools, it indicates Crohn's disease or irritable bowel syndrome.
