Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My age is 30 and unmarried. I suffer from a migraine for the past 16 years. At least one time per week, duration of more than 10 hours.
Kindly helps.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Noted you are having migraine problems many times. So, if you are having repeated migraine headache problems then prophylactic treatment for a migraine can be started.
For prophylaxis Amitryptiline, Beta blocker, Topiramate, etc., drugs are available and one of them can be prescribed. Try to avoid loud noise and more sunlight exposure.
Peppermint or flaxseed oil topical application can be beneficial. During an acute attack of a migraine, Rizatriptan 5 mg tablet can be taken.
I hope this helps.
Thankyou.
