Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I moved from Miami to New York last year, and since then, I have been having skin trouble. I am experiencing small red unpoppable dots around my eyes that come and go and dry skin under my eyes and on my eyelids. Sometimes it is worse than others, but it never disappears entirely. I am currently taking Gianvi birth control pills and a capsule of Prozac 40 mg. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

I think you are having an allergic response around your eyes, possibly due to the following reasons.

1) Eyelash curler as it contains nickel.

2) Glasses.

3) Some cosmetics.

4) Eye drops.

5) Airborne particles.

These factors are unavoidable in many cases but assess which one may be the factor in your case and try to avoid it as much as possible.

I suggest applying 1 % Hydrocortisone cream twice daily for 14 days. However, please consult a physician, discuss with them and start taking the medications with their consent.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
