hello, welcome to icliniq@icliniq.com I can understand your concern.. missing periods can be actually distressing to leave you puzzled with its reason and with the numerous questions there are numerous reason of missing periods, first being stress, changes in diet and lifestyle, increase in weight  or loss of weight, changes in physical activity less or more..other hormonal issues like thyroid and prolactin raise, however if this is your first time when periods are getting delayed the tests and evaluation is unlikely needed. In short any alterations has an effect on the menstrual cycle which causes delaying Another being pregnancy if you have been sexually active , if the urine pregnancy test is negative..start some exercise and get into a normal lifestyle eventually in a week periods should come.. however if after a week you don't have any signs..you can take medicine for inducing periods hope I could solve your query.do let me know if you have any other questions take care
