Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had sex with my partner on the fourth day of my period and he ejaculated inside the vagina and my period is paused since then. I am not bleeding. Kindly suggest me a solution and guide me on the same.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concerns.

Based on your information, I can offer some general guidance. If you had sex during your menstrual cycle and your partner ejaculated inside your vagina, but your period has stopped, you may be pregnant. The only way to confirm pregnancy is through a pregnancy test. If you have not experienced any symptoms of pregnancy, such as nausea, fatigue, or missed periods, it is possible that you are not pregnant. If you are not pregnant, your period may have been delayed due to a variety of factors, such as stress, hormonal fluctuations, or changes in lifestyle habits. In this case, your period should return within a few days to a week. Suppose your period does not return within this timeframe. In that case, it is essential to speak with a healthcare provider to rule out any underlying medical conditions contributing to the delay in menstruation. In the meantime, it is essential to practice safe sex and use contraception consistently and correctly to prevent unintended pregnancy take home pregnancy tests, and share the reports with me.

I hope you find this information helpful.

Thank you.
