Patient's Query

Hello doctor

I have a mole that looks like melanoma I am very much concerned. I have had this mole since birth but now the size has increased.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for the query.

It is good that you are observing the mole. Please continue to observe. Indications for melanoma would be any asymmetry, color variations in mole, changes in borders or irregular, lesion starts growing. In my opinion, the attached photo (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) looks healthy for now. Anyway, you can consult your doctor or dermatologist. They may do a dermatoscopy. If required they may do a biopsy.

I hope this helps.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Can I send you one more picture? So that you can have more look into it?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thank you for the follow-up query.

One darker part of the mole has probably been there since the beginning. This is part of the mole since the beginning and is normal. There are no other variations or irregularities. In my opinion, it looks healthy. But please also consult your dermatologist or doctor for a dermatoscopic examination.

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
