Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

This morning, I woke up with an intense muscle ache in my ankle, specifically beneath the talus bone. It is painful when I apply pressure to my foot, such as when attempting to walk. Additionally, I have noticed a small bump located on the sore muscle, and pressing down on it also causes discomfort.

Hi,

I am glad you chose icliniq for your medical-related queries.

I understand your concern and will try to help you with it.

  1. Can you recall any recent injuries, excessive walking, or instances of twisting or stumbling in the past few days?

  2. Is this the first time you have experienced this issue, or have you had similar symptoms before?

  3. Do you have a history of gout?

  4. Apart from swelling, is there any redness in the affected area?

For now, I recommend resting the leg, elevating it, and applying ice to the area. Additionally, you can take over-the-counter NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and Paracetamol to alleviate the pain. If the symptoms persist or worsen over the next few days, please return with the answers to the above questions.

Thank you.

I appreciate your trust in icliniq.com and for giving me the chance to serve you.

Our goal is to prioritize your health and help you according to your preferences and needs.
