Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have recently done a mustache transplant and it has been over three weeks. Now the hair is falling out and I suppose this is normal. However, I am worried about the stretch marks that appear under the hair where the follicles were transplanted. Will this go away or is it permanent? Could you please advise me?

I have attached images for reference.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

I suggest you

  1. Apply Mupirocin ointment twice daily for 10 days.
  2. Increase vitamin C-rich foods in the diet.
  3. Tablet Limcee 500 mg (Vitamin C) once a day after breakfast for 30 days.
  4. Capsule Antoxid HC (antioxidant) once daily after dinner for 30 days.
  5. Avoid scratching and rubbing of lesions.
  6. Avoid friction or injury.
  7. Maintain proper hygiene.
  8. Wash the area with a Cetaphil cleanser twice daily for 10 days.
  9. Apply Mupirocin ointment after cleaning.

It will take a few weeks to months to fade away.

Thank you.
