What causes head tightness and imbalance?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am suffering from nausea, dizziness, and vertigo. My head always seems tight, creating imbalance while walking or sitting. Recently I have been facing an allergic problem that sometimes creates numbness. In addition, I have gastric and acid reflux issues. My SGPT/SGOT ratio is 73/54, cholesterol level is 198 mg/dL, and triglyceride is 130 mg/dL. The hepatitis test is negative, and the endoscopy shows GERD grade A.

Thank you.

Hello,

I read your query and understand your concern.

I think you are suffering from a tension headache or migrainous headache.

1. Is it unilateral or bilateral associated with any photophobia or nausea?

2. Are you diabetic or hypertensive?

3. How long have you been suffering from the above problems?

I suggest you use a tablet of Diligan (Meclizine Hydrochloride) 25 mg twice a day for five days (consult your specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their concern). If the symptoms are not improving, please consult your neuro physician. He will examine and treat you accordingly.

Thank you.
