Hi doctor,
Is it safe to give oral polio vaccine (OPV) within 15 days after providing a dose of inactivated polio vaccine (IPV)?

Thank you for your query.
OPV (oral polio vaccine) is a safe vaccine. Since providing OPV is a national program, I advise you to give it. IPV is a 100 % effective vaccine, and it has to be given in a course. IPV gives 100 % protection after completion of the course. It is better to give IPV and OPV in monthly intervals, but there is nothing wrong if given simultaneously.
