Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 19-year-old. Last year, I was told by the doctor that I had an ovarian cyst on my left ovary, and I had a cavity of some sort also. The cyst was bigger than 5 cm. I was scheduled for an operation, but when I went for a check-up, the doctor said that it was getting smaller and was no longer needed for the operation.
However, there was a smaller cyst now on the right-hand side. I was also diagnosed with hepatitis B. I have not had my period since last year and have taken multiple pregnancy tests, all negative.
Kindly help.

Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand from your history that you are 19 years old lady with a BMI (body-mass index) of 29.7 with hepatitis B (how long, what medications are not known), and having secondary amenorrhea (absence of periods) since last. Around four years ago, you had scheduled surgery for a left-sided ovarian cyst of greater than five centimeters a year back, but postponed it as the cyst reduced in size, along with the appearance of a right-sided cyst. As the urine pregnancy test has been done multiple times and has been negative, I suggest you try the following:
I will wait for your lab results for a better understanding.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
