Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a male with a weight of 158 pounds and a height of 5"3. I am a non-smoker. My BP level is 113/83 mm/Hg, my heart rate is 80 beats per minute, my fasting sugar level is at an average of 120 mg/dL, and post prandial sugar level is 150/160 mg/dL. The level of my bilirubin, SGPT, and SGOT had increased a few days ago and is now completely normal. It has been almost ten days since the normal report came. I also tested LFT and KFT but it is also normal. I have done MRI, and that report also came back normal. My current symptoms are constant nausea, loss of appetite, dizziness, feeling of lack of strength in the body, palpitations, and tingling. Currently, I am taking the following medications Ecosprin Gold 10 at 1 pm, Glycomet 250 at 1 am and 1 pm and Etizola 0.5 at 1 pm. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I suggest you check your (glycated hemoglobin) hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) levels to assess blood sugar control over the last three months. Diabetes can cause complications of nausea, bloating, tingling, or numbness in feet. Anxiety worsens these symptoms. For palpitations, I suggest you get the ECG (electrocardiogram) done.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I did ECG and 2D echo, and this report has come normal. Can you suggest medication for all these symptoms which should not affect the heart, liver, and other systems?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

ECG (electrocardiogram) will only catch abnormality when a patient has symptoms; if at that time, ECG is normal, it means symptoms are only subjective. I suggest you take the following medications. Take Tablet Domperidone 10 mg a half hour before every meal, Capsule Esomeprazole 20 mg before breakfast, Vitamin B12 supplements, Capsule Pregabalin 75 mg twice daily for neuropathy (numbness, tingling, etc.) and Tablet Nebivolol 5 mg if the heart rate is fast during palpitations.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
