Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 27 years old and have blood pressure in the range of 110/80 mm Hg and 130/71 mm Hg and a pulse rate of around 90 beats per minute. I am being able to feel palpitations in my left chest and stomach. Why is this feeling coming in the chest and abdomen? I am feeling a bit weak, and today I had some tests, and my left hand is paining a bit. Please help.

Thanks.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You are having issues with palpitations. Palpitations can be scary, especially when you feel pulses in different parts of your body, but often not harmful or pose a danger, especially in young people. Palpitations can be caused by anxiety, underlying heart problems, etc. Rarely is it caused by an underlying heart disease in people of your age group. I usually advise my patients to modify their lifestyles. You must exercise three to four times a week, eat a healthy diet, sleep seven hours daily, and avoid smoking, caffeine, or drinking. This can worsen your palpitations. I wish you a quick recovery.

I hope this information will help you.

Thanks.
