Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Before, I used to feel tension and panic. I also got panic attacks. Since then, I have been experiencing all these symptoms. Is this anything heart-related? I am taking capsule Betacap TR 20 mg and tablet Nexito Plus 5 mg. Please help me. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The echo is normal, and the echocardiogram is of sinus tachycardia, very much in line with panic or anxiety. Still, I would suggest a thyroid profile as thyroid disorders closely mimic panic attacks. Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thanks for your response. I also did a thyroid test, and I have attached the reports. Please have a look at it. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Your T3 and T4 levels are normal, but thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels are low. It is like subclinical hyperthyroidism which means the thyroid hormones are slightly overactive. I would suggest you consult an endocrinologist for further investigations and treatment. Also, the tablet Betacap TR (Propranolol) has improved your symptoms of hyperthyroidism and panic attacks. Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
