How do I deal with a big lump on my right ear?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a big lump on my right ear, which is getting bigger day by day. I do not know how to deal with this. I have attached the photographs with it.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It appears to be a papilloma (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), a benign condition.

Usually, it has a pedicle, and it can be excised even under local anesthesia. It should be sent for histopathological examination to confirm its nature.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
