Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have some red papules on my fingers to arms for the past one day. I am so worried. What is the cause of it?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. I have gone through the images you have attached (attachment removed to protect patient identity). The possibility of allergic etiology is more likely. So apply Mometasone cream thrice daily. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Also, take Fexofenadine (120 mg) and Montelukast (10 mg) combination once a day at night before going to sleep. Do not itch. You can apply moisturizer lotion or Calamine lotion. Do not worry, you will be alright with all these in 1 to 2 days. Do let me know if you have any allergies.

The Probable causes

Skin allergy.

Treatment plan

Mometasone cream and Fexofenadine plus Montelukast combination.
