Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 23 years old female. I have been pregnant for 20 weeks now; my complaint is I have a fever and headache. Last night I went to the hospital, and they gave me nutrition and other things; they said it is safe for pregnancy, and I felt good after it, but this morning my temperature went up again. Is Panadol 500 mg safe to use?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You can take a tablet of Panadol (Paracetamol); depending on the temperature, you can take it thrice daily. Do cold tepid sponging (normal tap water). Paracetamol is a safe drug. If fever persists, do consult a nearby gynecologist for an opinion.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
