Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have PCOD and want to conceive. I want to know if there is any natural way of conceiving. I was on birth control pills for three months and after that, I stopped taking pills. My periods were regular for three months and then I did not get my period in the fourth month. So I consulted my doctor and she gave me medicines. I took the medicines for five days and I got my period. I am trying to conceive for four months. I am getting my periods every month but it is irregular for the last three months.

Kindly help.

Hello,

I appreciate that you have chosen icliniq.com for your medical needs.

I am here to give you the best care possible.

I have gone through your case and I understand your concern. You can conceive naturally. Start taking folic acid tablets once daily. Maintain your weight within BMI (body mass index) with regular exercise and diet modification. It will help you a lot. Have you checked your thyroid profile? If not, then please get it done. May I know how is your cycle? When was your last menstrual date and how many days does your cycle last? Accordingly, we can predict your ovulation day. You should do regular intercourse around your ovulation period. I also want to know if you have done a follicular study before.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.
