Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I want to fly with my three-month-old infant. What are the precautions to be taken while flying? Should I carry any medications with me?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have reviewed your query and can understand the sensitivity of the situation here. If your infant is on no medications and has no allergies or disease, there is no need to worry about it. No special precautions are needed in that case. I recommend that Acetaminophen (Tylenol) be kept with you if the baby needs it. Otherwise, nothing much is needed. The flight safety precautions can be obtained from the airline website, and it would be better to get a bassinet for the baby. Hope it helps. Feel free to ask me more questions if you need further assistance.
