Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 21-year-old male, and I was intimate with my girlfriend, who is 20 years old. We did not have sex but rather had mutual masturbation, and I finished first and instinctively was trying to help her. I am worried that though my hands just rubbed on her clothes, there might just be a tiny bit of sperm on my fingertip. I realized it almost immediately, and we stopped. I made her take an I-pill almost within an hour. The problem was that she might have been ovulating the same day, and we were unsure if the I-pill would still work out or not.

After about 10 anxious days, she got her period. The flow was quite heavy, and she filled up roughly two to four pads each day. It lasted about six to seven days. Now, it has been around 20 days, and as her period dates are starting to come closer, I am becoming more anxious day by day. Is there any chance that she could get pregnant again?

I have had problems with my anxiety around five years back, but it went away. I had health anxiety and was worried that my heart was going to give up, but it was just panic attacks. I think I still have some of that anxiety creeping up in other ways, and this might be it. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

With passion, commitment, and experience, I hope I will be able to provide you with top-class medical opinion.

Do not get anxious as there is no chance for her to be pregnant through such sexual activities. Only had there been intercourse the risk of pregnancy would be high. Also, if there was no intercourse, then there is no need to take contraceptive pills as this can cause severe withdrawal bleeding when taken in an overdose or in an unnecessary situation. I suggest you take the tablet Escitalopram 50 mg by mouth every day after consulting with your doctor about your anxiety if you have persistent symptoms.

I wish you good health.
